What’s a Social handprint?

MAEX measures the impact of organizations with the Social Handprint. The Social Handprint is a simple impact visualization that shows the positive effect of an organization on society, expressed in the contribution to the global goals, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and possibly translated into financial value.

Impact on the neighbourhood?

With the organization Maex which we made a social handprint t. This allows us to measure our impact on society, but also to manage it. Meaning we can adjust whether certain activities work or not. In another words, is the neighbourhood in need of this or not?

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

As you can see, we contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by Maex.

SDG 3 Good health and wellbeing

Our contribution to good health is not only to provide sports training, but also to provide information about a healthy lifestyle.

SDG 10 Lessen inequality

Anyone can train with us, regardless of income.
Some people have fewer opportunities to participate in society for various reasons. We help these people by helping them with self-development through our personal development activities.

SDG 11 Sustainable communities and cities

Through our Buurderij activities we try to contribute to establish connections with and within the neighbourhood by connecting local producers and nearby residents.

SDG 17 Partnerships to reach goals

To reach goals it’s a must to collaborate. One does not make it alone in this world. Therefore we try to collaborate with as much as possible with other organisations who support our social activities.
